| Dianne M Morin, Inc. has created an extraordinary cooking program devised to help children age 3 to 18 years of age develop a healthy eating habits. Our structured, age-appropriate classes incorporate "home economics", healthy eating choices, kitchen safety and cooking. Our program allows kids to have fun as they gain, social skills, kitchen skills and build a healthier eating habit while sampling the meal created in class. The most important benefit we offer, however, is the building of confidence and self-esteem. All classes are hands-on where questions are encouraged and having fun is a must!
Dianne M Morin - Bio Dianne Morin has been an experienced cook for years. She has always taught families and friends how to cook. As a child, she would spend time in her mom’s restaurant kitchen and her parent’s kitchen, learning as much as she could. She was taught to cook by her grandmother, her mom and her dad. After cooking for enjoyment for over 29 years, she decided in early 2001 to take some time off from her Banking career of 16 years and pursue her own business. She combined her talents for cooking along with her love for children and started a new career; teaching children how to cook, eat healthy and stay safe in the kitchen. Her goals, the first year were to find a medium to expose children to the joy of cooking a variety of foods as well as teaching them kitchen safety and food safety. Testing the demand for her product and gaining experience in the business, she opened her business to local daycare centers and recreation centers in West Palm Beach. The classes were such a success that she incorporated her business DIANNE M MORIN INC. d/b/a MARROC COOKING FOR KIDS, in 2002 and completed 119 classes that year. Since them Ms. Morin has been averaging about 310 classes per year. In the summer of 2003 she signed a contract with Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioner Parks and Recreation Department, Recreation Service Division/ Department of Safe school/Middle School After-school program. With this contract her cooking classes have expanded to our young teens in the Middle Schools after-care programs of Palm Beach County. She also offered this program to some of our elementary after school programs, Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation Department and The Village of Wellington, Leisure Services. In early 2006 she started to train other instructors to teach her cooking programs to her clients in the Palm Beach area. With the added help of her other instructors she decided to teach classes in a limited capacity so she could return to her other passion which is her banking career. She enjoys the ability to be able to use her cooking program to teach children to eat healthy and to use her Banking career to educate the Senior Community about Reverse Mortgage. Dianne Morin, lives in West Palm Beach with her three sons, Michael, Marcus and Jordan and her daughter, Jasmine.
